Owners at this British Columbia ski resort needed a marketing-communications program to stimulate sales for its 1,400-home village project. Frause organized a multi-city “Friends of Red” tour where long-time visitors met Red Mountain Resort owners to talk about exciting new developments at Red. The tour spanned Portland, Ore.; Milwaukee; Toronto; Minneapolis; and other cities where destination travelers were located. The event in Seattle, which had little awareness of Red, attracted 120 well-heeled individuals. The tour was an overwhelming success, generating faster-than-anticipated sales of Red’s first condo project, Slalom Creek.
