Having grown up on the North Carolina coast, Richard’s always had a passion for the water, along with a healthy obsession with - and mortal fear of - sharks. Especially the ocean’s apex predator, the infamous Great White. He’s learned that despite their gruesome reputation, sharks are largely passive, misunderstood creatures (he’s recently taken up SCUBA to learn for himself!). Richard applies this intellectual curiosity daily at Frause, where he immerses himself into his clients’ most difficult challenges, helping them to leverage public relations and other communication channels to differentiate themselves from their competition. Richard lives in Ballard with his wife, Kimberly, daughter, Emily, and Yellow Labrador, LuLu.
