Frause internship

All of us at Frause were so excited about starting a blog; we spent hours fighting over who would be responsible for the content. We drew straws, played rock paper scissors, even thumb wrestled for the honor. It turns out our interns have some strong thumbs (not to mention opinions). They also have the best opportunity to provide a "fly on the wall" look into the workings of Frause. Without further ado, we present Frause – through the eyes of our interns!

From Berlin to Seattle

July 12, 2012   Posted by Morrel at 3:58 PM

Last year I set a goal for myself to do a PR internship in the States for the summer. Many didn’t believe I would accomplish it, but here I am! It was a long and sometimes difficult process to get everything in order (visa, sponsorship, housing etc.), but I’ve learned there are no shortcuts to any place worth going, so I just kept at it. With the great support of the Frause team along the way my goal was realized. I made it from Berlin to Seattle, and I was welcomed with absolutely gorgeous weather.

So now, finally after investing time and energy to get here, I am rewarded by being part of the Frause team, and I get to live in one of the most amazing cities I have ever seen. This feeling is so good that despite my jetlag, which has so far refused to completely go away, I am always in the office early and cannot wait to see what is waiting for me next.

And the best part of all: this is just the beginning. Therefore, my next goal is to make the most out of this internship and learn as much as I can. Hopefully I will leave a positive influence with my workmates and others I meet along the way so that maybe in a few years during lunch break, the Frause team will still say: “Remember the German intern?”
